Baby Gender Day!

The Wednesday prior, Jenn and I had the obstetrician write down in the card what the gender is. I asked the obstetrician how certain she was of the gender and she commented on how she doesn't answer that question. I figured she gets plenty of dirty phone calls when the incorrect examination of the sonogram photo takes place.
So here is this card that Jenn and I had to hold onto for 4 days, until Sunday, and not open it. We sure did hold it up to a light for awhile!
As 12 of us gathered around the table and place our orders the decision had to be made who would open the card. Finally my Dad, opened the envelope and turned the card toward Jenn and I, asking if we were ready.
Opening the card a picture fell out and we all agreed IT"S A BOY! Every one was excited. With all the other pregos having girls, it's nice to know his chances are high. HA!
Here is the Money Shot!

After the meal Jenn noticed the sign above our table. It is meant to be... James Dexter Weibelt it is.

Two Rings To Rule Them All!
Ok, I know the title is super-geeky. But it's the truth. Jenn and I picked out rings today.
Jenn and I went to the jewelers to find an engagement ring that we both like. We (mostly Jenn) were swarmed by two ladies, and Jenn tried on almost all the rings. Right before it seemed we were settled on a ring, another ring caught my eye. The second Jenn put it on I could tell that she liked it too. It was slightly more expensive, but it was a perfect balance. Being certified and in a platinum setting, we were sold on the discounted price.
I found a tungsten faceted band that I had seen online previously. After looking through the other choices, I was certain that I wanted that particular one.

Tellin the Folks, Part 2
Today I (we) told my parents at their house. They knew something was "up". We then told my Grandparents and Aunt at a restaurant during dinner. Why not tell everyone at once! Jenn was about to have a panic attack, ha.
"You know your Great Grandparents." said Jeff slyly
"Well thanks." said Pop-pop as he shook my hand
"No, you are a Great grandparent." said Jeff again
"What do ya want." snickered Pop-pop
"You're going to be Great grandparents!" clarified Jenn
"Ohh... Ohh... Who's having a hound-dog?!" asked Pop-pop, haha, I love that man.
